Were you part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC)? Did your volunteering experience give you new skills, friendships, memories, or a different perspective on the world?

Now it is your turn to share your story.

The Learn2Volunteer project invites former and current ESC participants to create a short video testimonial about their experience. Your story could inspire another young person to take their first step into volunteering — and you could also win a smartwatch! ⌚🏆

🎥 What do you need to do?

It is simple:

  1. Record a short video of 1–2 minutes about your ESC experience.
  2. Upload your video to YouTube or another video-sharing platform. You can make the video unlisted if you do not want it to appear publicly on your channel.
  3. Copy the link to your video and submit it through the Learn2Volunteer form.

Make sure that we can access and watch the video through the link you provide.

💡 What should you talk about?

There is no need for a professional video or complicated editing. We are interested in your real experience and your personal story.

You could tell us:

  • Where did you volunteer and what did you do?
  • Why did you decide to participate in ESC?
  • What was the most memorable part of your experience?
  • What did you learn or how did you change?
  • Did you face any interesting challenges?
  • What would you say to someone considering becoming an ESC volunteer?

Be yourself, be creative and tell the story in your own way!

🏆 Win a smartwatch!

All eligible testimonials will be considered, and the most engaging, impactful and creative ESC story will win a smartwatch.

The selected testimonial may also be featured through Learn2Volunteer social media and communication channels, helping your experience reach and inspire even more young people.

📅 Deadline

Submit your video no later than:

30 September 2026 at 20:00 CET

Videos submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the competition.

🚀 Ready to share your story?

Your ESC experience is more than a memory. It can encourage someone else to travel, volunteer, learn, meet new people and become actively involved in their community.
